Kara Ziebelman’s work is rooted in dreams, the human condition, and a deep reverence for the natural world, as well as the complexities of modern life. She uses mixed media, printmaking, and painting to create layered, intimate compositions that evoke memory, emotion, and mystery. Drawing from personal narratives, folklore, research, and observation, Kara’s work uses human and animal figures to tell complex, allusive narratives.
